Leak Detection System for KAEC

Blue Gold Technology successfully installed and commissioned a new HiScan remote pipeline monitoring system at the prestigious King Abdullah Economic City in Saudi Arabia.

This new technology will remotely monitor 10 kilometres of critical pipeline infrastructure in the new city.

Jeremy Llewellyn says, this new technology is superb for advanced warning and pinpointing of any leaks occurring on the pipeline. 

The HiScan sensors are placed up to 800 metres apart on the Transmission Mains pipeline and monitor for any leaks occurring between 2 sensors.  The online software will pinpoint the exact location of the leak and enable a rapid response by the water company.
